Baasata Society Activities 2010-2011

It has been a great experience to be part of you and work with you to do a bit of what we can to this society.

 

Here is the summary of the list of activities that were taken up by Baasata Society for last academic year June-2010 to May-2011

• Issued scholarship of Rs.6,000/- to Batti Reddy, a Xth class student of Mother Academy, Venkatagiri.
• Joined a girl student in Intermediate 1st year @ Sai Cooperative Junior College, Kavali. Supported with fee of Rs.1500.
• Joined a student in ITI at Udayagiri. Supported the student with total annual fee of Rs.10,000/-
• Been issuing medical pension of Rs.200 per month to 5 patients. -- 10,800 (Issued for 11 months and included 1 more beneficiary after starting with 4 patients )
• Been issuing Pulikonda Kallamma scholarship of Rs.200/- per month to 8 children of Challa Yanadulu, Jaladanki. -- Rs.14,200/- (1 more student joined after 1st month)
• Joined a deserted old women in an Old Age home in January 2011. Supported her with Rs.9,000/-
• Joined a student in RSR Engineering College. Supported her with college fee, hostel fee and stationary with Rs.21,900/-

Total donations used from June-2010 to May-2011 Rs.73,400/-

  

Thanks to all the generous donors for putting faith in Baasata Society and being part of it, your valuable contributions have always been used for the deserving cause.

  

From Nov-2008 to May-2011 we raised an amount of 1,13,000/- and the donations used were Rs.1,01,145/- and we are left with Rs.2,000/-

  

Expenses for year 2011-12 :-

• Pulikonda Kallamma scholarship of Rs.200 to 8 students for 10 months -- Rs.16,000/-
• Hostel fee for student at RSR Engineering College -- Rs.20,000/-
• Medical Pension of Rs.200/ per month to 5 patients at Tufan Nagar, Kavali -- Rs.12,000/-
• Supporting ITI student -- Rs.10,000/-
• Supporting the deserted old women with monthly Old Age home expense of Rs.2,000/- for 12 months -- Rs.24,000/-

We need total donations of Rs.92,000/- for this year to run our existing activities. We request you to donate to us and if you are interested in donating then please drop a mail to baasata@gmail.com

 

It has been a fantastic time for us all, we stayed focused, we supported the needy at right time, we extended our activities and took up need based responsibilities. In the coming year, let us join hands to increase our reach to the needy.

 

Please bring to our notice about students needing financial assistance or any services activities that Baasata Society can take up. We all can work together and try our best to give back to this society and make this world a better place to live.
