Medical Pension to poor patients @ Thufan Nagar

In Thuffan Nagar, Kavali we came across many people facing a lot of health problems. Among many we identified four well deserving candidates and started distributing Rs.200/- per month as pension to them. Firoz and his mother has handed over for money for the months of June and July to them personally and are maintaining a written note of it. We are planning to provide them Rs.200/- per head per month on regular basis with which they can buy medicines or fruits to support their health. Please find below the details of the patients we are supporting.

In Thuffan Nagar there are many such people who we can address and help. Let us start planning on addressing their problem in future.

Supporting an ITI Student

Venkateswarulu belongs to the village Sitarampuram, near Kavali. He and his sister lost both of their parents at very young age. Their aunt is supporting him with great dfficulty while his sister is under guardianship of some others. He successfully completed his 10th class and is one among the brightest students in his class. His hostel warden has dropped a request to support his studies in local news paper and our guys [Vamsi and Mahesh] took it up from there. We counselled him, enquired his problems and with his interest we joined him in Fitter course at an ITI College in Udayagiri. As a part of first installment we paid Rs.3000/- as college fee, got him 2 uniforms, shoes, books and handed over some money for expenses. To finish his 2 years of ITI we are supporting him with scholarship of Rs.20,000/- [This Excludes accommodation]

Supporting a First year Intermediate Student

Reshma lost her father when she was five . Her mother, with the meagre amount she gets from tailoring clothes, has raised her and sent her to school. Reshma finished her 10th class and has a great interest to study. One of our friends Firoz Khan referred her to us and we are providing her scholarship covering her college fees, which would sum up to Rs.4,500/-. We joined her in our Sai Co-operative Junior College. The management has given concession and agreed to accept the payment of fees in installments. As first installment Rs.1000/- has been paid and she was given Rs.500/- for books and other stationery items.

Scholarship for a Xth Class Student @ Venkatagiri

Battireddy is a 10th class student at Mother Academy, Venkatagiri. He has been class 1st ranker from his 6th Class. His school principal has supported him without fee so far. One of our friends Thota Vamsi has referred us this student. This guy had problems back home and is struggling for food and clothing. We gave him a scholarship of Rs.6,000/- so that this amount would assist him in finishing his 10th class successfully. The scholorship is with Principal and he will be giving it to the student based on his need/performance.
